The Krasnogvardeisky district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 38-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). “Nuance” of a criminal tragedy — a man killed his own brother.
The court found that in October last year, while intoxicated, during a conflict with his brother, the convict inflicted one blow on the latter with a kitchen knife in the chest area. The victim died from his injuries at the scene.— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The convict was promptly detained by internal affairs officers. The man fully admitted his guilt in the incriminated act.
The court, agreeing with the position of the prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 7 years and 6 months in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
