Campaign «Be sure! Be healthy”: blood pressure monitors will be checked in Sevastopol

From April 5 to April 7, Sevastopol will host the All-Russian campaign “Be sure! Be healthy”, within the framework of which the specialists of the FBU “Sevastopol CSM” will check blood pressure monitors for free.

The purpose of the action is to convey to the people of Russia the importance of regularly checking the accuracy of readings of household blood pressure monitors in order to prevent cardiovascular diseases. Last year, during the action, the specialists of the Sevastopol CSM accepted for testing more than 1,200 blood pressure measuring devices, of which over 15% turned out to be unsuitable for operation. Our Hero City was among the regions in which the largest number of blood pressure monitors was tested— noted in the press service of the department.
