Candidates for the title of «Honorary Citizen of the City of Yalta» have been named

In 2024, the artist and author of numerous creative exhibitions Sergei Petrovich Bocharov and candidate of technical sciences, honored builder of Crimea Vladimir Anatolyevich Popelyansky will become honorary citizens of Yalta.

Very respected residents of the city, representing different spheres — art and construction. In less than five years of the deputy cadence of the Yalta City Council of the second convocation, 11 Yalta residents were awarded the title. We will continue this good tradition in the next convocation— said the Head of the municipal formation of the Yalta urban district — Chairman of the Yalta City Council Konstantin Shimanovsky.

The draft resolution on conferring the title of «Honorary Citizen of Yalta» will be submitted to the next session of the city council. The awards to Honorary Citizens will be presented on Yalta City Day, which is celebrated in August.
