Late yesterday evening (at 23:35) the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about a car fire in the village of Skvortsovo in the Simferopol district. A VAZ 21014 caught fire while driving. The driver left the vehicle on his own. Attempts to extinguish the fire on his own were unsuccessful.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire on an area of 3 square meters. There were no casualties. The cause of the incident is being investigated. Preliminary — a malfunction of the fuel system.
