For two days, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Center for Combating Extremism and the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, with the force support of the special unit of the Russian Guard, carried out operational and preventive measures aimed at identifying and suppressing crimes. Security forces carried out testing of vehicles on sections of roads along which entry into Simferopol and exit from the territory of the Crimean capital are carried out.
In total, during operational and preventive measures, personnel checked 274 vehicles, solved 20 crimes, for which 16 people were detained.
Employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea brought 18 persons to administrative responsibility for violations of traffic rules, against whom 19 protocols were drawn up— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, in one of the hostels located on the territory of Simferopol, the police checked the legality of the presence of foreign citizens in the territory of our country and their work activities.
In relation to two visitors, the police drew up protocols under Part 1 of Art. 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation.” They face a fine and deportation from the Russian Federation.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
