Center for gifted children «Impulse» will open in Simferopol on September 1

The Regional Center for Gifted Children «Impulse» will begin work on September 1 in Simferopol. Its task is to identify, support and develop the talents of Crimean schoolchildren. The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea, Valentina Lavrik, spoke about this during a live broadcast organized by the Center for Regional Management of the Republic of Crimea. According to her, «Impulse» was created on the basis of the Crimean boarding school for gifted children.
We conditionally named our center “mini-Sirius”. Children from all over Crimea will come to it. Within three weeks, they will receive a unique development in three areas: science, art and sports. Children will have the opportunity to show their abilities, participate in various competitions— said Valentina Lavrik.
Education of children will be conducted according to the programs: agrobiology, genetics, medicine, experimental physics, experimental robotics, general biology, astrophysics and space research.
Able children will apply for training through registration from the school. The opening of such a center will provide an opportunity to cover as many Crimean children as possible with a unique education.said the Minister of Education.
Also on the air, organized by the Center for Regional Management of the Republic of Crimea, Valentina Lavrik spoke about the innovations of the academic year, the construction of schools and kindergartens, the elimination of the second shift, food provision and answered other questions of concern to Crimeans.
