Charitable Foundation «Gulfstream»: Leva needs your help
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The boy has two serious diseases: cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Lyova is already taking medications that have helped reduce daily attacks, but to consolidate the positive effect, she needs classes with a neuropsychologist, speech pathologist and speech therapist. An annual rehabilitation course costs more than a million rubles. But the boy’s family doesn’t have that kind of money. It remains to collect 845,000 rubles.
The story of little Leo
Five-year-old Lev Kamaletdinov fell and got up many times in his life. The boy was born in agony for 24 hours until his mother had an emergency caesarean section. A month later it turned out that Lyova had a stroke during childbirth.
We did an ultrasound and found some darkening. Part of the brain died, quite a large one, in the frontal lobessays Eldar, Leva’s dad.
At five months old, Lyova began having seizures. Doctors diagnosed him with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Half of the body was practically paralyzed. At the cost of hellish work, mobility was restored. But another problem came. Due to the stroke and constant debilitating attacks, Leva became hyperactive and could not concentrate. The family faced condemnation and misunderstanding.
We were on the subway, my son was acting weird, and I had to hold him. Even a man came up to me and said that this is not my child, that I stole it.“, the father shares.
It was he who took care of the boy. To be close to his son, Eldar left work. Now their mother Natalya works in their family.
Somehow it turned out that she was depressed longer than me. And on walks Leo was uncontrollable. And it so happened that only I could deal with himsays Eldar.
Leva is not accepted into either a regular or a specialized kindergarten, citing epilepsy in the active phase. But this year, luck smiled on the family: thanks to your support, Leva began studying at the Children’s Inclusive Center “It’s Fun to Walk Together.” The progress is colossal.
Leo was really bad at attention. And now he is interested in his successes, he will assemble a pyramid and rejoice. We also have babbling. Before that he was silent“says Natalya Korneva, a defectologist-neuropsychologist at the center.
In order for Leva’s psyche to develop, he needs to study a lot with specialists.
I see in him intelligence, a thirst for knowledge, he just goes through a more difficult path. He is a hero, he inspires me, I see him as a wonderful person, I just need to help him“,” the boy’s father says with delight and love.
Support Lev on his special path in life, lend a helping hand to the young hero! Thank you very much for your support! — Your Gulfstream Foundation.
