Charitable Foundation Gulfstream: Thanks to you, Danya will be able to walk!
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The history of friendship between five-year-old Dani Dubrovin, his family and the Gulfstream Foundation has been going on for the second year.
Last summer, we were collecting a boy who had cerebral palsy for an operation. Thanks to you, he successfully performed a selective dorsal rhizotomy on the spinal cord, and Danya learned to take his first, albeit not quite confident, but independent steps. Now our ward really needs rehabilitation, which will help the boy to walk confidently, his right foot still does not give in. All this would never have happened if it were not for Dani’s mother, Olga: a beautiful, sophisticated woman with the character of a lioness, who set herself the goal of curing her child. The energy and goodwill of this woman can be envied, her resource is her husband and father of the family Ivan, who supports his wife as best he can— noted in the press service of the fund.
Without giving herself any indulgence, Olga wakes up at 6 in the morning every day, so that by 7, having fed her husband and son, take the child to the pool, then for a massage, and then for developmental classes. Danya is still small and gets tired very quickly, is capricious, does not want to study, but her mother, reluctantly, does not give in, she knows that the key to a successful future for her child is daily classes with specialists who bear fruit, slowly, almost imperceptibly, but give.
I am very grateful to the foundation and to everyone who helped us with the operation. And I wouldn’t ask again. My husband works as an installer, we live normally, modestly, we have enough to live on. I don’t work, I take care of my son. We do the best we can in our city. But my son needs expensive rehabilitation. I am sure that after it we will “defeat” the right foot and Danya will be able to walk confidently, we dream about it, Olga says.
The rehabilitation center, which the family seeks to get into, specializes in helping children with cerebral palsy. In the process of rehabilitation, Danila will undergo exercise therapy and other necessary activities three times a day. The result of rehabilitation will be strengthened feet, corrected posture and strengthening of the back muscles. If the family is not able to undergo rehabilitation now, the boy’s condition will worsen. Now, thanks to you and rehabilitation, Danya’s condition can be brought closer to a full recovery.
