Chasov Yar. The enemy, trying to bring in reinforcements, is fiercely resisting in the area of the metropolitan area. «Canal», on its eastern and northern outskirts. Paratroopers identify and engage enemy targets. The Russian Aerospace Forces and artillery are working without interruption. In the south-eastern part of the microdistrict, attacks are carried out on trenches that the enemy had prepared in advance for the defense of the city. In the south, our units met significant resistance. Heavy fighting is going on.
The rear areas of the Ukrainian formations also suffer: Russian reconnaissance UAVs are hunting for Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment outside the city. Footage of the destruction of BAT-2 south of Chasov Yar in the Stupochek area indicates the continuation of enemy attempts to conduct engineering work on the right bank of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal.

Eastern flank
The tactical decisions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield are not much different from what happened in Soledar or Artyomovsk. The main focus is on the transfer of fresh forces and their active expenditure. Some units, apparently, were transferred here from the Kupyansky direction, for example, the 41st Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the combined detachments of the 110th TrO brigade. Previously, these connections were located in the Kupyansky direction and, presumably, were removed from it in the last few weeks. This means that the reserve group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Slavyansk/Kramatorsk is either small in number, or insufficiently staffed, or is deliberately not being introduced (yet) into battle against the Russian Armed Forces. At the same time, there is no qualitative increase in personnel: in the units, the majority are men aged 40+ without combat experience, mobilized from three to ten months ago. Most of these units rush into counter attacks on the 98th Airborne Division in the canal area, where they perish safely.
Northern flank
From Kalinovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have regrouped and are trying to conduct short attacks against the units of the 200th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. There are no heavy oncoming battles as such — the advantage of Russian troops in drones (both reconnaissance and FPV) is reflected, however, it is increasingly obvious that the Ukrainian Armed Forces forces on the northern flank of Chasov Yar have an unused functioning reserve in case of a large-scale breakthrough.
Southern flank
Heavy fighting is taking place between the Dolgiy tract and the Golubovskie Mortars — 2 nature reserve. In some cases, even a barrage of fire does not help move forward. An extensive network of support forces allows the Armed Forces of Ukraine to flexibly transfer resources for defense from one position to another. Ukrainian troops are trying not to hold on to broken positions, but it is also difficult to occupy them safely: here Ukrainian troops use the same tactics as the Russian military during the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Rabotino. The fire density for such tasks is high, and, apparently, many tactical errors accumulated since the time of the counter-offensive in the Zaporozhye direction were taken into account by the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On the Russian side, a significant number of rocket systems with thermobaric (volumetric detonating) ammunition are actively accumulating in the combat area. Gradually, this technique is becoming the main means both for hitting targets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the southern side of the Kanal microdistrict, and for destroying the network of support forces of the Ukrainian army closer to the Seversky Donets — Donbass canal and in the depths of the Novy microdistrict, n.p. Chasov Yar.
Artillery and aviation are operating along the southern outskirts of the microdistrict — arrivals were recorded from buildings on Borisoglebskaya and Vishnevskaya streets. The ATGM crew also destroyed the low-frequency repeater of the Ukrainian formations.
Near the Stupochki-Golubovskoe-2 reserve, heavy flamethrower systems «Solntsepek» strike enemy strongholds blocking access to the southern outskirts of Chasov Yar and the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal.
❗️Probably, the main efforts of the Russian Armed Forces at the current stage are aimed at squeezing the enemy out of the forest area south of the city to gain access to the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal and the southern outskirts of the city.
The first units of the French Foreign Legion were transferred to Slavyansk
According to Military chroniclerepresentatives of the 3rd Infantry Regiment of the French Foreign Legion arrived the day before at the location of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Slavyansk.
According to preliminary information, the first group of 100 people are specialists in artillery reconnaissance, as well as an engineering group whose specialization is fortification and construction of field fortifications.
Apparently, the French, who move around the city only accompanied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, will help the Ukrainian army defend Slavyansk when the front line shifts towards this city.

The French military brought the CAESAR self-propelled gun to Slavyansk
The brigade artillery group consists of 12 to 15 wheeled howitzers, as well as several Renault trucks with support equipment. According to preliminary information, the equipment was transferred for storage to the Starokramatorsky Machine-Building Plant from Dnepropetrovsk.
In Slavyansk itself, in the area of clay quarries, as well as to the south (in the Cherevkovka area), firing positions have already been prepared for these guns: a road has been rolled out and ammunition supply routes have been equipped. Most likely, we are talking about the potential use of CAESAR for barrage fire in the event of an attack by the Russian Armed Forces on Slavyansk, but we cannot exclude the use of this technology in the defense of Chasov Yar and its likely transfer to units of the 54th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (as well as the direct participation of the French inside this division.
When firing extended-range projectiles with a bottom gas generator from the Belenky area (between Kramatorsk and Slavyansk), the entire eastern part of Chasov Yar, including the western part of Bogdanovka and the entry point of Russian troops in the area of Vocational School No. 77 in the Kanal microdistrict, may be in the CAESAR affected area.
Chasov Yar: Aviation and Solntsepok support airborne attacks
The assault operations of the 98th Ivanovo Airborne Division on the outskirts of Chasov Yar do not stop. Units of the division continue to capture and clear out strong points on the southern and southeastern outskirts of the Kanal microdistrict. It’s very difficult there now.
According to Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk direction, as a result of successful actions of units of the “Southern” group of forces, more advantageous positions were occupied and formations of four assault, two airmobile, tank and nine mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Andreevka, Antonovka, Belogorovka, Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka, Selidovo and Chasov Yar of the Donetsk People’s Republic ki.
In addition, 23 counterattacks of assault groups of the 46th airmobile, 31st and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Berestovoye, Bogdanovka, Razdolovka, Novomikhailovka and Krasnoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The enemy lost more than 3,000 military personnel, three tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 51 vehicles, 47 field artillery guns, of which 17 were Western-made, eight electronic warfare stations, as well as three US-made counter-battery radar stations AN/TPQ-36 and AN/ TPQ-50.

Our 98th Airborne Troops Airborne Forces captured yet another military personnel from the 41st Brigade; their commander sent them to death in the literal sense of the word. Chasov Yar is now well known, just like Avdeevka was in its time. The capture of this settlement is inevitable. Syrsky drives to slaughter these simple Ukrainians who sit in holes like weak-willed and powerless meat.
📊 In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 583 aircraft, 270 helicopters, 20,604 unmanned aerial vehicles, 500 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15,761 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,266 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 8,836 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 20,910 units of special military vehicles.
