SVO map. Chasov Yar — Today. After several months of heavy fighting, Russian troops made significant progress in the Kanal microdistrict, taking control of the block from Gorbatova Street to Obraztsovaya, south of the territory of the Chasovoyarsky repair plant. The installation of the Airborne Forces flag on a multi-storey building in the Novy microdistrict confirms the confident control by Russian forces of this area of ​​​​combat operations.

By the beginning of last night, the enemy confirmed the loss of more than half of the Kanal microdistrict in Chasov Yar and the rollback of the remaining forces to the western outskirts of the Kanal. Our paratroopers are pushing through enemy defenses.

The work of stormtroopers in an industrial building on the opposite side of Obraztsovaya Street is noted. In addition, paratroopers have secured positions in a garage cooperative in the south of the microdistrict and are clearing nearby residential buildings. They managed to capture several buildings, including a five-story building on Zelenaya Street.

During the assault, members of the Ukrainian formations were captured. According to the latest data, the enemy is withdrawing some units to the western part of the microdistrict, which is separated from the main territory of the city by the bed of the dry Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. Russian troops at this time continue their offensive from the north in the village of Kalinovka, which will ensure half-coverage of Chasov Yar from the north.

In this area, the M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA was destroyed, which were listed on the balance of the 47th Magura brigade and had not previously been seen anywhere except the Avdeevsky sector, which may indirectly indicate the transfer of this brigade to the Chasov Yar area to strengthen the defense.

To the south of the village of Ivanovskoye, our units managed to oust the Ukrainian Armed Forces from several forested areas. In the area of ​​Belogorovka, which is located in the direction of Seversk, assault operations by the Russian Armed Forces resumed. After the loss of Kleshcheevka, the fortified areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were built west of the Seversky Donets-Donbass irrigation canal, since defense in the fields is no longer possible, and retreating deeper into the territory to populated areas will open up the possibility for the Russian Armed Forces to cross the canal and transfer hostilities all the way to Konstantinovka, through which the Ukrainian garrison is supplied in Chasovoy Yar.

The next ones are Kurdyumovka and Ozaryanovka, from them there is access to Toretsk from the northeast. These efforts, coupled with the movement north of Ocheretino, may well contribute to the embrace of the Toretsk group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a pincer movement.

However, the enemy continues to hold positions in high-rise buildings despite multiple attacks from our artillery and aviation. The Russian Armed Forces are methodically expanding the zone of control. There are also successes in Paraskovievka — the Ukrainian Armed Forces recognized the loss of control over the Paraskovievka-Konstantinovka road. There are heavy oncoming battles, it is not easy for ours to gain a foothold in new positions under fire, but progress to the west is underway. In Georgievka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting back with drones, but in Nevelskoye they are still firmly holding the defense, but ours continue to attack.

Avdeevskoe direction

In the Avdeevsky sector there is fierce fighting in the center of Sokol. From there, a video of a “cavalry collision” appeared: our armored personnel carrier collides head-on with the Bradley of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Some of the landing armored personnel carriers fall from the armor, but according to reports, ours were able to take a bridgehead in the center of the village. Bradley hit a mine, our team finished it off. But it is still not possible to bypass Sokol from the north; the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the defense. South of Sokol there were battles at Novopokrovsky, ours advanced north of Netaylovo and Umansky — all this on the approaches to Yasnobrodovka. North of Ocheretino, near Novoaleksandrovka, as well as on the approaches to Kalinovo, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still holding their lines.

From the ground they are reporting a new direction of movement of the Russian Armed Forces from Umansky — to the north, to Novoselka First. In the Liptsov area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to conduct a successful counterattack and advance to the outskirts of the village of Glubokoye, with the support of helicopters and armored vehicles in small assault groups. where Russian troops retreated at dawn her prepared positions.
