Cheese «Gold of Crimea» will be presented at the agro-industrial exhibition in the Moscow region

The fact that the Gold of Crimea cheese will be presented at an agro-industrial exhibition in the Moscow region was announced by Alime Zaredinova, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, as part of a press tour for media representatives to a cheese factory in the Bakhchisaray district. Crimean cheese makers plan to demonstrate more than 20 names of this product.

At the exhibition «Golden Autumn», which will be held in early October, 4 processing enterprises plan to present their products from the Crimea. These are large factories, small peasant farms and cooperatives. Cheese factory «With the world for cheese» is a vivid example of how a farmer grew from an ordinary private subsidiary farm into a large farm — a cooperative. The direction is now intensively developing, the main impetus for this was, of course, the implementation of the state program to support beginning farmers who unite in family farms, and then in cooperatives. The First Deputy Minister also noted that in addition to supporting breeding farms, reimbursement of costs for milk produced, special attention is now being paid to supporting farmers who create livestock farms, including dairy cattle breeding, so that this could become an impetus for the further development of such industries. like cheese making. In the current year, agricultural producers of the republic for the direction of dairy cattle breeding are provided and provided with about 350 million rubles. This includes support for breeding farms, and reimbursement of costs for produced and sold milk, for produced and sold wool, and the preservation of meat breeds.

At the festival, the farm cheese factory will present cheeses: “Gold of Crimea” and “Manchego”. Products are made from cow and goat milk. In order to make “cheese gold”, a year is needed, during which the cheese is rubbed with a special tincture of Crimean herbs for several months, and then placed for aging in a pillow of fragrant hay. «Manchego» — prepared from goat’s milk according to the classic Spanish technology. Cheeses ripen in a special climatic chamber at a certain temperature and humidity. The capacity of the cheese factory allows to process up to 4 tons of milk daily.
