Chersonesos Taurica invites: the exhibition «Chersonesos from Alpha to Omega. M» runs for 5 days

A new, free capsule exhibition has opened in the Byzantine Exposition Hall of the Museum-Reserve! It is organized alphabetically and introduces visitors to the archaeological finds of Chersonesos and the objects depicted on them, the names of which begin with the letter «M». The exhibition runs from August 21 to 25, so don’t miss it!
It features a 4th century AD sword, molybdobulae (hanging lead seals), fragments of a Megarian cup and a vessel with an image of the Gorgon Medusa. Visitors will also be presented with a coin, part of an amphora with a monogram, mosaic tesserae and medical instruments made of bronze and copper. The capsule exhibition «Chersonesos from Alpha to Omega. M» is open in the Byzantine Exposition Hall from August 21 to 25, daily from 09:00 to 19:00. Admission is free!
