Chersonesos Taurica invites you to a new exhibition — «Chersonesos from Alpha to Omega»

On July 23, another capsule exhibition from the cycle «Chersonesos from Alpha to Omega» will open in the Byzantine Exposition Hall of the Museum-Reserve. It will tell visitors about archaeological finds, the names or materials of which begin with the letter «K», free of charge and in an entertaining form.

Among them are various types of ceramic products: terracotta figurines, fragments of black-lacquered and glazed dishes, a jug and an incense burner. Pectoral crosses, amphora stamps and cameos will attract attention. Guests will learn what a capital is, and will also see relief images on stone and carved ones on bone plates.

The capsule exhibition «Chersonesos from Alpha to Omega. K» will be open in the Byzantine Exposition Hall from July 23 to 31.

On the specified dates it can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday – from 09:00 to 19:00, on Monday – from 09:00 to 13:00. Admission is free.
