Children and adults are invited to participate in projects dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Artek

The International Children’s Center is launching a competition and events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Artek and aimed at creating a positive public opinion about the Artek community, implementing creative skills, and supporting creatively thinking specialists from various fields of activity. According to the press service of the Artek International Children’s Center, children and adults from all over the world will be able to participate.

“Artek” is an amazing place where children become absolutely happy. And the warmth of the sun and soul absorbed here remains with them for the rest of their lives. This is a place of meetings, the birth of true friendships, and the fulfillment of childhood desires for many generations. For almost a century, excellent traditions of developing children’s talents have been preserved here. And on the eve of the anniversary of the Land of Childhood, we invite children and adults to join the Artek community. Competitions and events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Children’s Center will allow you to express yourself in various types of creativity and feel involved in the history of Artek. I am sure that the legend of our country, of which we are all proud, will unite different generations of creatively thinking peoplenoted the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov.

The competition includes 12 nominations in the field of literature, arts and crafts, design: “Design of elements of children’s uniforms and accessories”, “Fine arts”, “Sketch of a postcard”, “Author’s toy”, “Printing”, “Poetry”, “Poster” on the wall”, “Legends and tales about Artek”, “Board game” (individual or team participation), “Lesson script about Artek”, “Best design layout for a set of sticker packs”, “Artek miniature sculpture”.

The following events will also start: “Photo event: “Artek resident in the frame” and “Essays “Life before and after Artek”.

An organizing committee will be created with the involvement of external experts to determine the winners. The results are planned to be summed up within the framework of large-scale presentation and exhibition events, such as the International Forum and Exhibition “Russia” at VDNKh and the World Youth Festival in Sirius.

The winners in each nomination are determined by categories: “children under 17 years of age (inclusive)”, “students of secondary vocational and higher educational institutions”, “adults”.

The results of the Competition will be published on the website of the Artek International Children’s Center www.artek.org no later than five working days from the date of the official summing up of the Competition results.
