Children from kindergarten visited firefighters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sevastopol

How do the Sevastopol employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations work, how do they fight fire and rescue people from trouble, what equipment helps them with this, what kind of tools are in the compartments of the fire truck? Children always have a lot of questions — but firefighters are ready to answer every one. An unforgettable excursion for the group of kindergarten No. 14 was conducted by the personnel of the 1st fire and rescue unit of the city emergency department.

The guys were able not only to examine the fire truck from the outside, but also to visit its cabin. We saw equipment and inventory: a crowbar with the funny nickname “hooligan”, a hydraulic tool and a gas and smoke protection device. And the bravest ones were shown a chainsaw in action at a safe distance. Guests tried on combat fatigues and a heat-reflective suit. Through the protective glass of his hood, the children literally saw the world through the eyes of firefighters. In a playful way, the kids not only got acquainted with the activities of firefighters and rescuers, but also remembered the main safety rules.
