Children in Sevastopol can receive free New Year's gifts
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Starting from December 20, the regional departments of labor and social protection of the population of Sevastopol begin issuing free New Year’s gifts to children. Legal representatives of children can submit applications.
Children under the age of 14 inclusive (as of December 31 of the current year) can receive a gift. The right to provide New Year’s gifts is granted to:
- children from large and low-income families;
- orphans and children left without parental care, including those who are fully supported by the state;
- children who suffered from the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant;
- disabled children;
- children from families of persons killed in the line of duty;
- children registered with commissions for juvenile affairs and protection of their rights in the category of “socially dangerous situation”;
- children staying in the Social Shelter for Children and Adolescents;
- children registered at the Social Assistance Center as being in difficult life situations.
In addition to the regional departments of labor and social protection, an application for a gift can be submitted through the regional portal public services and in 12 branches of the MFC of Sevastopol at the addresses:

- Ave. Heroes of Stalingrad, 64;
- village Kacha, st. Aviators, 9;

- st. Boris Mikhailov, 6;
- st. Rabochaya, 3;
- st. Pavel Korchagina, 34.
The maximum period for providing a gift from the date of application is 10 working days.
