Children of participants in a special military operation can take advantage of social support measures in educational institutions. Maxim Krivonos, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol, told about this.

Among the benefits provided by the department is free meals in educational institutions. The support measure is intended for students of grades 1-11, as well as for those who study in boarding schools and colleges.

In addition, parents are exempted from paying for the presence of children in kindergarten and can get a place in a preschool institution on an extraordinary basis , Maxim Krivonos emphasized.

Two other support measures provided by the department are college enrollment and children’s camp in 2023 year.

Timeline: College enrollment will be available from 20 June 2023, summer wellness campaign will begin On April 1 2023, respectively, parents can exercise the right from these dates. — one of the documents confirming that the applicant is a family member of a participant in a special military operation: extracts from the orders of commanders (chiefs) of military units, divisions, headquarters, bodies, operational and other groups, entries in identity cards, military cards, work books, information on labor activity, travel certificates, ship roles, archival certificates, medical certificates, extracts from the medical history confirming the dates or periods of participation of a citizen in a special military operation or ensuring that he performs combat missions during this operation, as well as documents confirming that he received in connection with this, injuries, concussions or injuries, realized award material or a copy of the contract on military service by a citizen in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, confirming the dates or periods of participation of a citizen in a special military operation or ensuring that he performs combat missions during this operation.
