Children of special operation participants can enter Sevastopol colleges on the budget

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Children of participants in a special military operation can take advantage of social support measures in the field of education. Among them is the provision of budget places for education in colleges and technical schools. The head of the city instructed to work out the issue related to the need to repeatedly provide documents confirming the participation of a family member in a special military operation.

There is a single base from where information is pulled up. Parents of students already receive benefits in other areas, including benefits for travel in public transport. If a document from the family of a serviceman is already in the database, it should be automatically pulled up. Deal with it urgently— Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev is quoted by the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

Anton Ulyantsev, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol, spoke about organizing the admission of students to institutions of secondary vocational education.

The total admission target for the 2023/2024 academic year is 2,202 places. In institutions subordinate to the Department of Education and Science of the city of Sevastopol, 1,977 places are provided, of which 218 places are for children of SVO participants. In Sevastopol Medical College named after Zhenya Deryugina, there are 225 places in total, of which 23 places are for children of SVO participants. The admission campaign will last until August 15. If preferential places remain after the end of the admission campaign, children of SVO participants can apply until November 25. After this date, free places will be redistributed among other categories— Anton Ulyantsev notes.

Recall that an application can be submitted through the State Services portal, in person when visiting an educational institution or by registered mail with notification.
