Sevastopol Academic Russian Drama Theatre. A.V. Lunacharsky, the solemn closing ceremony of the XI Regional Christmas Educational Readings took place.
The literary and choreographic composition «Sevastopol — Faith, Hope, Love» performed by the regional resource center for spiritual, moral and family education «Balaklava House of Children and Youth Creativity» was presented on the stage.
I would like to thank all the teachers, heads of educational organizations, cultural institutions for the work and contribution that you make during the readings, for the preparation and education of the younger generation , — said the Deputy Governor Sevastopol Igor Mikheev.
As part of the closing ceremony, the winners of all competitions in spiritual and moral education that took place in Sevastopol throughout the year were awarded the winners of prizes. Active participants and organizers of the regional stage of the Christmas Educational Readings were also awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts.
It seems that quite recently, on December 4, we opened our regional Christmas readings with an idol prayer service, many events took place during this period, during which representatives of the Sevastopol Deanery, students, and teachers spoke. The spiritual upbringing of a child is the foundation of a system of values and ideals , — said Stanislav Feoktistov, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of the city of Sevastopol.
Recall that the regional Christmas readings are one of the largest city public forums and one of the most significant events in the public, social, cultural, and pedagogical life of Sevastopol.
This year, more than 1,500 people took part in the events held as part of the Christmas Educational Readings.
