Last week, there were traffic accidents on the roads of Sevastopol, in which 14 people were injured, including three minor pedestrians four, nine and fourteen years old, who were run over in the dark.

Traffic police officers revealed 336 administrative offenses, including 18 drivers drove a vehicle while intoxicated, 4 of which repeatedly, for which criminal liability is provided, 33 violated rules for driving a pedestrian crossing, 20 drove into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 30 pedestrians crossed the carriageway in the wrong place , the Sevastopol State traffic inspectorate reported.

In the coming week, traffic inspectors will carry out preventive measures «Carrier», «Children’s seat» and «Night City».

For months of the current year, 512 accidents with victims, in which 16 people died and 336 were injured.

Also on the roads of the city there was 33 an accident associated with a collision with a pedestrian, in which people died and 159 were injured. 4 pedestrians died due to the fault of the drivers, due to the pedestrians’ own negligence, 6 people died and 20 were injured.

In the clashes, 16 people and 340 were injured. The main reasons for such accidents were: non-observance of the order of travel, the wrong choice of distance, driving into the oncoming lane, discrepancy between the speed of specific traffic conditions and violations of the rules of rebuilding , — specified in the State Automobile Inspectorate.

For months, traffic police officers revealed 512 a driver in a state of intoxication , of which 33 got drunk behind the wheel again, 2369 did not provide an advantage to pedestrians, 749 drove into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 737 pedestrians violated the rules for crossing the road, also 749 violations by drivers were detected since the beginning of the year buses.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol calls on drivers and pedestrians to strictly observe all the Rules of the Road, including excluding driving while intoxicated by drivers, using retroreflective elements at night by pedestrians.
