In the evening, a 33-year-old townswoman saw an unknown young man on the street, who was looking for something intently under the fence. She guessed that the stranger was looking for a bookmark with a drug and reported this to the police.

Officers of the patrol service of the police immediately arrived at the scene of the incident, detained the suspect and seized a polymer bundle with a crystalline substance. The conducted forensic examination confirmed that the bag contains a synthetic drug — methylephedron , — the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol reported.

A criminal case was initiated against the person detained by the Department of Inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Leninsky District under Part 1 of Art. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.
