The brigades of the municipal budgetary institution «City» are working in an enhanced mode, eliminating the consequences of rain and strong winds in Simferopol. According to the Unified Duty Dispatch Service, as a result of bad weather, 4 appeals were received from citizens on falling trees on Gagarin, Gaidar, Gurzufskaya and Evpatoria highways. Among other things, a statement was received from residents on the need to clean storm sewers.
Currently, experts are removing fallen trees and branches from the roadway. In the most problematic areas, the storm sewer system is cleaned so that nothing interferes with the flow of water, and it does not flood nearby streets— said the director of the MBU «City» Anton Gumen.
According to him, today the brigades are also cleaning the border area from alluvium: dirt, stones and foliage.
In addition, on behalf of the head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, since the evening of May 29, specialists have been monitoring the water level in Salgir. Particular attention is paid to areas prone to flooding.
