The pupil of MBU BC No. 3 of Simferopol, candidate for master of sports of Russia Nikita Yevtukhov (coach-Yuri Sologub) became the silver medalist of the XXXVII Open All-Russian Tournament in the Greco-Roman wrestling “White Nights” of the memory of the Olympic champion A. A. Roshchina. Competitions were held in St. Petersburg.

Nikita Yevtukhov rose to the podium in the weight category up to 82 kg. Our fellow countryman won three victories on the way to the final, but in a decisive battle, unfortunately, he lost to the international class master Yevgeny Baydusov from the Nizhny Novgorod region-the winner of the junior (up to 24 years) European Championship-2025.

It should be noted that in total, more than 200 athletes from 14 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from Belarus and Armenia, took part in the competition.
