Climatologist: Global warming could cause more storms in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The abnormal heat is an indicator of global warming. Such climate change means that during the year Crimea can expect other, more pronounced weather phenomena, such as storms, winds, rains, and frost in winter— he said.
Vakhrushev noted that showers and storms could replace the heat in Crimea as early as August-September.
On July 16, 17 and 18, temperature records were broken in Simferopol due to abnormal heat. In July, due to abnormal heat, power grid failures began to occur in the region, leading to mass power outages.
