Clinical examinations and preventive medical examinations continue in medical organizations in Crimea

In medical organizations of Crimea, comprehensive medical examinations continue — medical examinations and preventive medical examinations of the population, provided for in the framework of achieving targets for the implementation of the national project «Healthcare».
Since the beginning of 2024, 536,015 people have undergone medical examinations and preventive medical examinations, which is 28% of the population of the Republic of Crimea. In addition, preventive examinations of minors are carried out — 176,700 minors were examined this year— reported the Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects.
According to the rules for medical examination, from the age of 18 to 39 years it must be done once every three years, and from 40 years old — every year. In order to check your health, you need to go to the clinic at your place of residence, work or study and see your local physician. You can sign up for the clinic in person at the reception using your passport and compulsory medical insurance policy, by phone or through State Services. The full list of studies performed depends on the person’s gender, age, presence of chronic diseases and identified pathologies.
In 2024, those born in 1985, 1988, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006 and before 1985 are expected to undergo medical examination. Everyone else can undergo a preventive examination. Everyone who has undergone medical examination receives a health passport, which includes conclusions and recommendations based on the examination results.
Medical examinations are aimed at timely detection of the most common diseases — cardiovascular, oncological and endocrine. In addition, in-depth medical examination continues for citizens who have recovered from moderate and severe forms of the new coronavirus infection. Crimeans who have been ill with a new coronavirus infection even without a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis are invited to an in-depth medical examination.
