Colleagues' smoking breaks irritate 4 out of 10 non-smoking Crimeans

Smoking colleagues annoy 4 out of 10 non-smoking Crimeans. In a survey of a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Representatives of companies and economically active residents of Crimea took part.
The majority of employers provide special premises for smoking traditional and electronic cigarettes (87 and 79%, respectively). Only every fifth company bans vapes (20%), while regular cigarettes are banned even less frequently (13%).
Today, 4 out of 10 Crimeans (40%) are confident that electronic cigarettes are more dangerous for smokers than classic tobacco products. Among non-smokers, 38% adhere to this point of view, among adherents of regular cigarettes — 56%, and among vapers — only 13%.
22% of respondents believe that electronic vaporizers cause more harm to others than cigarettes. 36% assess the harm equally, 18% believe that electronic vaporizers cause less harm. The largest number of supporters of this point of view are among vaping smokers: 55% of them are confident that people nearby suffer less from nicotine vapor than from cigarette smoke.
Smoke breaks from co-workers irritate 4 out of 10 non-smoking employed Crimeans: “They smoke for 15-20 minutes every hour and work takes half a day”; “They smoke vapes in common rooms!”; “Why should I work while they smoke?!” 45% treat nicotine-dependent colleagues calmly: “I don’t interfere with them”; “Smokers have their smoking breaks subtracted from their lunch time.” Only every eleventh person (9%) works in smoke-free teams.
