Commission for coordinating anti-corruption work in the Republic of Crimea — what conclusions are being drawn at the moment

The Head of the Republic of Crimea held a meeting of the Commission for Coordinating Anti-Corruption Work in the Republic of Crimea. According to Sergei Aksenov, the main focus of the commission’s activities is to prevent and identify violations in procurement for state and municipal needs, monitor the compliance of officials’ expenses with their income, and work to increase the accessibility and transparency of the provision of state and municipal services to citizens.
Anti-corruption remains one of the important tasks of government bodies; systematic work is being carried out in this area in the republic. We understand that the more complex the procedure for obtaining services, the more often there may be a need to resort to the use of corruption schemes. Therefore, it is important to ensure accessibility and transparency in the provision of state and municipal services to the population– the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
In addition, Sergei Aksyonov reported that the audit of the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo», whose employees used corruption schemes, continues.

The event was also attended by the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Crimea Alexander Ushakov, members of the Government of the Republic of Crimea, heads of ministries and departments.
