Commissions for assessing the readiness of educational institutions in Sevastopol have completed their work
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Six acceptance committees have completed their work on assessing the readiness of Sevastopol educational institutions for the new academic year.representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian National Guard, parents, and members of the Legislative Assembly took part in them. Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted preventive visits to all educational institutions of the city. The state of the territories, the readiness of classrooms, the material and technical base, equipment, the state of food units, medical offices, as well as work and educational documentation, the state of the street and road network near educational institutions were assessed.
Some institutions are eliminating the issues identified during the inspection. Today, the College of Service and Trade underwent a repeat inspection of its readiness for the academic year.
During the last visit, we identified a number of comments that the commission did not hide. At the moment, all the comments have been fully addressed. The entire team has done a tremendous job preparing the institution for the new academic year, for the students’ meeting: they painted in some places, removed unnecessary things that only took up space, and paid more attention to cleaning the classrooms, i.e. these are all organizational and economic issues. The commission’s goal is not to punish, but to identify shortcomings, the elimination of which will create better conditions for our children.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Maxim Krivonos.
The director of the College of Service and Trade spoke about how many applications have already been submitted to the educational institution.
This year, 406 applications for 175 budget places were submitted to the College of Service and Trade. Every year, the number of children who choose our college is growing. The largest competition was for cooking and confectionery — 5 people per place, the passing score is 4.1. The institution is looking forward to the children. Classes and workshops are prepared. We are also planning to gradually update some of the visual aids that are needed for laboratory and practical work, raw materials and consumablesnotes the director of the College of Service and Trade, Ilona Smolyakova.
The focus of the inspections conducted in Sevastopol schools, kindergartens and colleges was, of course, on safety issues. In addition to fire and anti-terrorist safety, the commissions assessed the condition of the shelters during air raid signals as meeting safety standards.
Let us recall that, on the instructions of the Governor of Sevastopol, work is currently continuing at educational facilities to armour the glazing in educational premises.
In total, the commissions inspected all 163 educational organizations in Sevastopol.
