«Art-autumn» has come to the museum-reserve. This means that Tauric Chersonesus again invites young artists from 6 to 16 years old to take part in the competition of children’s works of fine art. The paintings should show the «Treasures of Chersonese» — archaeological finds, natural and landscape values, cultural traditions and spiritual shrines.
As part of the Art-Autumn festival, from 20 to 30 October, children can write and submit drawings in a format not less than 60 × 20 see Finished Works on these dates from 9: to 17: must be handed over to the administrator at the main entrance group of the museum-reserve. At the same time, each participant must provide accompanying information: the last name, first name and age of the author, the title of the work and its brief description, dimensions, as well as the contact phone number of the legal representative. It will be possible to do this when submitting a drawing , — the press service of the museum-reserve reported.
From 30 October to November 3, members of the competent jury will determine the nominees and winners of the «Treasures of Chersonese» contest in the following age categories: 6‒7 years old, 8‒9 years old, 10‒12 years and ‒16 years.
On November 4, as part of the «Night of the Arts» campaign, the results of the competition will be summed up. At 18: 30 there will be a solemn award ceremony for the winners and participants. All young artists will receive certificates, and the best of them will receive laureate diplomas and special prizes. On the Night of the Arts, guests of the museum-reserve will also be able to see the Treasures of Chersonese through the eyes of children at a special exhibition.
