Counter-Strike, a tactical first-person shooter competition, has started in the CybersetArena computer club. The city championship is held in several disciplines, the most popular are CS: GO and Dota 2.
Sevastopol Computer Sports Federation officially received accreditation in December 2021 of the year. Hero City keeps up with the times, and video game tournaments are often held in Sevastopol. This year, for the first time, participants in the city championship will be able to receive sports categories for their results , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
Ten teams of five people each competed at the Sevastopol Championship in Counter-Strike.
In addition to Counter-Strike and Dota 2 — these are the most massive and most popular team disciplines — there are individual ones. It is a sports sim, tech sim, competitive puzzle and real time strategy game. These are all individual disciplines, let’s say they are less popular and less massive. As a rule, they have much fewer participants. Of course, Counter-Strike is the leader , — says Evgeny Eremenko, President of the Sevastopol Computer Sports Federation.
Competitions in the Dota 2 discipline will take place on December 4, and the championship itself will last until 10 December.
