Congratulation of the Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Congratulation of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin.

I congratulate Orthodox Christians on the great and bright holiday of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

This holiday strengthens our faith in the immortality of the human soul and our hope for the help of the Mother of God, who has always been revered by our ancestors as the heavenly patroness and intercessor of the Russian land.

According to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, the very fact that we profess faith in the Lord and Savior today, resist many temptations and temptations, the purpose of which is to separate a person from God, “is a sign of the mercy of the Most Holy Theotokos to all of us.”

In honor of the Assumption, Russian shrines are named in all corners of our Motherland. These are the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin, and the cave Holy Assumption Monastery in Bakhchisarai, one of the most ancient and famous, and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kerch, built in 1907, and many other churches.

May the feast of the Assumption bring us peace, harmony and spiritual joy!

Holy Mother of God, pray to God for us! — says the congratulation of the Head of the Crimea.
