Faith doesn’t just give us a feeling of support. Faith is the basis of Russian statehood.

The sooner a person comes to realize true values, the stronger our people and country will be.

Although I know cases when already adult people came to faith through the sacrament of baptism.

We, living in Sevastopol, were doubly lucky: it was on our land that an event of unparalleled significance took place — here, in Korsun-Chersonese, Prince Vladimir was baptized, and it was then that the baptism of Rus’ began. And today in Sevastopol, as throughout the country, the Orthodox faith and national unity are stronger than ever.
