Dear residents of Sevastopol, I congratulate you on Russia Day!
Our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said: “Russia is not just a country, but truly a separate civilization: it is a multinational country with a large number of traditions, cultures, and religions.”
At different periods, Russia experienced many difficult moments. But it is the unity of the peoples living in our country, deep mutual respect for each other’s traditions and cultures, the willingness to help and protect those who need it, which helps us survive even in the most difficult times.
This unity was so clearly demonstrated by the residents of Sevastopol in 2014. And in the same way, the residents of the Hero City are resisting the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces now. Our military protects us, risking their lives, and civilians work in the rear, helping the front. I know for sure: since there is such cohesion, such courage and unity, our country will definitely win!
