In March 2014, the fighters of this formation — “polite people” — became a symbol of our return to Russia. They ensured security on the peninsula and helped maintain peace on Crimean soil. In many ways, it was their professionalism that allowed us to return bloodlessly to our historical homeland. Residents of the peninsula are grateful to the MTR soldiers for the work they have done.
Today, military personnel of this formation participate in the Special Operation, carry out the most difficult tasks to ensure the security of our country, liberate the territories of the former Ukraine from the Kyiv Nazis and establish order in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
I wish our military good health, military success and our speedy Victory!
