Congratulations to the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev on City Day
Krympress reports:
Dear Sevastopol!
Today, our favorite hero city celebrates his birthday.
In 242 years, so many events occurred on Sevastopol land that many other cities, perhaps, would not have enough thousands of years to accommodate such a story.
Here, Russian military glory was injected. Here the Black Sea Fleet always stood guard of the interests of Russia. Here, in the fateful 2014, the historical justice reigned to which we have gone for decades. Sevastopol is no longer just a city — it is a symbol of an unbending spirit, courage and fidelity to the Fatherland.
The Soviet Pesennik poet Lev Ivanovich Oshanin once wrote “the Duma of Sevastopol”. More than fifty years have passed, and its simple words are also relevant:
“The White City on the Blue of the Sea of Sea —
Forty bays and without an account of lights.
How many hearts beat your marinas!
I will keep you in my heart forever.
Everyone has a city in which he grew up,
The mother’s song is loving.
Sevastopol-Soldat, Sevastopol-Matros,
You are your own for anyone who saw you.
You are standing, full of tomorrow’s Duma is big,
Forever inaccessible to the enemy.
How are you old, how you are young,
The White City on the Blue of the Sea. ”
I am immensely proud of each of you, dear Sevastopols! Your love for the city and the fidelity of Russia, your hard work and stamina are our main capital. It is you who are creating the history of the city today, making it better, more comfortable and more beautiful.
Happy holiday! Happy birthday, Sevastopol!
Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev
