In Crimea, work continues to eliminate the consequences of the November storm. In Pribrezhnoye (the most affected by the “big water”), rescuers of the Evpatoria emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” erected a protective dam more than a meter high on the discharge canal to drain water from flooded areas directly into the sea.
Thanks to all the measures taken, the water level on average per day decreases by 3-4 cm. At the moment, 7 private households and 13 adjacent areas remain flooded in the village of Pribrezhnysaid the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev.
Let us remind you that on the night of November 26-27, a strong storm hit Crimea. As a result of the consequences of bad weather, water, electricity, gas and heat supplies were disrupted. The Black Sea, Saki, Belogorsky, Simferopol, Bakhchisarai and Leninsky districts suffered the most from the bad weather. On the territory of the municipality of Evpatoria on the street. Simferopol and Limannaya flooded 93 private households. To drain water from flooded areas, work was carried out to construct discharge channels.
In total, more than 1,300 people and 430 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the November storm in Crimea.
