Construction of a bypass road continues, which will connect the Tavrida highway with the southern coast of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The construction of the south-eastern bypass of Simferopol continues, which will connect the Tavrida highway with the road to the southern coast of Crimea, bypassing the villages of the Dobrovskaya Valley. The day before, the work at the site was carried out by the Prime Minister of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk.
The project is being implemented in two stages:
— 1st — section 15.8 km from the Tavrida highway near the village of Donskoye to the village of Zarechnoye,
— 2nd – a 9.4 km section of the route through the village of Zarechnoye to the exit from the village of Perevalnoye.
The new four-lane road with a length of 25.2 km will correspond to category 1B with an estimated speed of up to 100 km/h. The implementation of the project will make it possible to relieve the streets of the Crimean capital from transit transport and redistribute traffic flows from Tavrida in the direction of Alushta,” said Yuri Gotsanyuk.
The head of the Republican Council of Ministers also said that noise barriers will appear along the sides of the new highway, and two overpasses and two overpasses will appear on the bypass section. Also, as part of the second stage, transformer substations, local treatment facilities, and sites for the placement of cell phone towers will be built.
