Construction of a kindergarten in the village of Kacha: a criminal case was initiated on the fact of fraud

According to the materials of the prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, a criminal case was initiated on the fact of fraud in the construction of a kindergarten in the village of Kacha. The prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol checked compliance with the requirements of the law when spending budget funds for the construction of a kindergarten.

It was established that in November 2020, a state contract was signed between the state government institution of the city of Sevastopol «Unified Directorate of Capital Construction» and a commercial organization for the construction of a modular kindergarten in the village of Kacha. At the same time, in the course of its implementation, the contractor included in the act of completed work and a certificate of their cost false information about the supply of wooden window sills to the facility, which was not actually carried out. On the basis of these documents, in July 2023, payment was made and the rescue of previously advanced funds was confirmed. Thus, budgetary funds in the amount of more than 420 thousand rubles were stolen. The prosecutor’s office of the district sent the materials of the check to the body of preliminary investigation. Based on the results of their consideration, the investigative department of the MIA of Russia for the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (large-scale fraud committed by a person using his official position).
