Construction of a road on Antichny Avenue starts in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the near future, construction of a highway will begin on Antichny Avenue in Sevastopol. This issue was discussed today at a staff meeting of the city government chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The new road will connect the residential areas of the Omega microdistrict, the planned complex development areas, and will also provide transport accessibility to nearby schools and kindergartens. In addition, it will significantly relieve the street of Heroes of Stalingrad and connect Omega Beach with Kamyshov Highway. To implement the project, funds from the national project “Infrastructure Menu” and an infrastructure budget loan will be used. The project was approved last year at a meeting of the headquarters of the regional development commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin.
We are starting construction of a highway on Antique Avenue. I know that the residents of the area have been waiting for this for a long time. Specialists could not begin work for a long time due to the archaeological features of the area: part of Antique Avenue is the lands of the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve, reserved for scientific expeditions. Now that the experts have determined exactly where the facility can be built, we are starting construction, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.
According to the director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Stanislav Tamataev, the project provides for wide sidewalks, a bicycle path and stopping complexes.
The road will be two-lane. Specialists are installing three-meter sidewalks along the roadsides, and there is also a bicycle path. Three stopping complexes with six pavilions will be installed, pedestrian crossings will be equipped, and lighting will appear on the roadway, pedestrian zones and bicycle paths.he said.
Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed the acting Deputy Governor Pavel Ieno and Maxim Zhukalov to work together with scientists on the issue of making connections, transitions from the “even” to the “odd” side of the street — on the one hand, creating comfortable conditions for residents of the microdistrict, and on the other, without causing damage to the object cultural heritage.
Completion of work on Antique Avenue is scheduled for 2025.
