Construction of an ambulance substation completed in Yevpatoriya

In Yevpatoria, the construction of the emergency medical service substation No. 26 has been completed. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Alexey Natarov, the head of the municipality — the chairperson of the Yevpatoria city council Emmiliya Leonova and the first deputy head of the Yevpatoria city administration Ivan Prosoedov congratulated the emergency medical service employees on their move to the new building.
The construction of an ambulance substation in the city of Yevpatoriya was implemented within the framework of the departmental target program «Modernization of state healthcare institutions with the aim of bringing them up to federal standards and regulations.» The cost of implementing the event amounted to about 114 million rubles— said the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health, Alexey Natarov.
The new two-story substation building with a total area of 895.40 sq. m. has comfortable working conditions for emergency medical workers. It is equipped with rest and dining rooms, a pre-trip and post-trip examination room, drug storage rooms, a technical warehouse for engineering equipment, dressing rooms, showers, etc. The substation is equipped with the necessary furniture, equipment, and office equipment.
The facility has a parking lot and a place for technical inspection of ambulances. The substation’s vehicle fleet has been completely updated and is equipped with specialized Ford Transit-based vehicles and reserve vehicles.
The service area of substation No. 26 is the population of Yevpatoriya and the Saksky district with a total number of about 120 thousand people. In total, 10 ambulance brigades are organized in the substation structure, five of them are located in the new building, the rest are at four permanent bases. Modern conditions have been created in these structural units — modular points were installed in 2019-2021— said Alexey Natarov.
Thus, activities to modernize the infrastructure of the Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medical Care are continuing, which also has a positive impact on improving the quality and accessibility of care for the population.
