CrimeaPRESS reports:
The loan portfolio of organizations and entrepreneurs of the Republic of Crimea increased by 35.6% over the year and amounted to 188.3 billion rubles as of July 1, 2024. The portfolio growth is mainly due to lending to small and medium-sized businesses, which account for more than half of the entire corporate portfolio. Liabilities in this segment increased to almost 104 billion rubles. This is 1.7 times more than a year ago. In turn, the portfolio of large businesses increased by 7.7%, to 84.4 billion rubles.
In the first half of the year, Crimean enterprises and individual entrepreneurs received almost 113 billion rubles in loans. This is almost 28% more than in the same period last year.
More than half of the loans issued were provided to enterprises engaged in trade, real estate and construction.— commented on the situation the head of the Bank of Russia branch in the Republic of Crimea Igor Tsvetkov. — The growth of corporate lending allows Crimean businesses not only to replenish working capital, but also to support the implementation of investment projects.
The volume of loans issued to small and medium-sized businesses in January-June exceeded 63 billion rubles. This is 1.5 times more than for the same period a year earlier. The volume of loans issued to large borrowers in the first half of 2024 grew less significantly and exceeded the figure for the same period last year by 7%. The positive dynamics of corporate lending was largely facilitated by the effect of preferential lending programs.
