The Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced the 40-year-old resident of the Leninsky district for the commission of the crime under paragraph “b” of part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — other sexual actions using the helpless state of the victim, if they are committed in relation to a person who has not reached the age of fourteen.
The man was found guilty of committing a crime against a minor girl, that he committed other actions of a sexual nature, expressed in the implementation with the victim of an intimate correspondence. The court, having comprehensively studied the materials of the criminal case, taking into account the information about the personality of the defendant and all the circumstances in the case, as well as the severity of the crime committed, sentenced the defendant in the form of 12 years 6 months in prison with serving a sentence in a penal correctional colony, with restriction of liberty for 1 year 6 months. Civil claim of the prosecutor is completely satisfied in the amount of 500 thousand rubles,-the press service of the court said.
The consideration of the case was held in a closed hearing.
The verdict did not enter into legal force.
