«Creative Workshop» starts again in Sevastopol: we are waiting for bright, bold and ambitious

This year in Sevastopol, with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the “Creative Workshop” will again be held, a project conceived and implemented by the team of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Center for the Formation of Civic Culture”, also known for another project, “Teatralnaya Street”. Its snow-white dome in the Anna Akhmatova Park has attracted artists from all over the Crimea and Russia for many years. Now the organizers will give a second life to the Creative Workshop.

This project was successfully carried out in 40 year: thanks to him 10 talented young people were able to learn from professionals and got the opportunity to realize themselves and bring their creative ideas to life. Thus, as a result, Sevastopol residents were able to visit photo and art exhibitions, a theatrical premiere and a fashion show, visit an unusual library and play games that our ancestors played in Rus’ many years ago , the authors of the project note.

The new season of Creative Workshop starts in January. Until the end of winter, applications from creators will be accepted. Project participants can be young people from 15 to 40 years old, dreaming of realizing any creative idea. The application can be completed by one person or a whole team. If there is no team, but you really want to work among like-minded people, the organizers will be happy to help the creators with this as well.

«Creative Workshop» covers all branches of art, a variety of creative fields: music, painting, sculpture, theater, choreography, architecture, cinema, video, photography, design, fashion industry and much more. We expect bright, bold and ambitious ideas from our participants. The teams will have everything — venue, equipment, information support. All implemented ideas will compete for the title of the best, and we will reward the most successful ones and invite them to join the Teatralnaya Street team,” says Valery Alexandrin, head of the ANO Center for the Formation of Civic Culture.

After the application deadline, a casting will take place, in which the project organizers, together with members of a competent jury, will select the top ten finalists. Within six months, they will have to undergo theoretical and practical training, and then proceed to implement their own ideas under the guidance of experienced mentors. The final of the «Creative Workshop» is scheduled for September. All events within the framework of the project for teams will be absolutely free.
