Vera Nikolaevna was born in 1923 in the Urals in a large family. She graduated from school and entered the technical school, but the war destroyed all the plans of the young girl.
Vera was prepared at the radio engineering school, became a radio operator and went to the front. Fighted near Stalingrad and Kursk, participated in battles in Belarus, Poland, East Prussia. It was wounded and controversial several times.
The combat path of Vera Nikolaevna was marked by high awards, including the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Zhukov’s medal, medals “For the Defense of Stalingrad”, “For Courage”, “For the capture of Koenigsberg”. In her award sheet, it is written that in the area of the village of Boreyshevo she showed exceptional courage and courage and kept continuous communication with the brigade, and when the connection was broken and the enemy moved into a counterattack, «with a machine gun in her hands, she courageously and bravely repelled the attack of the enemy.»
After the war, Vera Arzamamasova received a pedagogical education. Together with her husband, she moved to Feodosia, where she worked in an evening school. Then she became a head teacher at school No. 8, and after her closure she taught physics and mathematics at school No. 3.
