Crimea: a cycle of publications «Victory in the Persons» — veteran of the Great Patriotic War Vladimir Levin

Vladimir Ivanovich was born in 1925 in the village of Vagkubovka, the Saratov region. He was drafted into the army in 1943, took a course of radio communications. He served as part of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, with battles he went through Hungary, Austria, Czechoslovakia. He released Debrezen, Vienna, St. Pelten, Yaromerzhets, Knowo. Under Vienna was injured in both legs.
Levin met the victory in Czechoslovakia. Among his awards are the Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree, the medals “For the capture of the Vienna”, “For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945”, the medal “For the Protection of the Republic of Crimea”.
Since the beginning of 1946, Vladimir Ivanovich has served in the Airborne Forces in the Estonia and the Pskov region. In 1950, he demobilized and continued his career, was a radio specialist at the state farm in the Saratovshchina.
Sergei Aksyonov noted that in the seventies the veteran moved to the Crimea, where he worked as an electrician.
This year, on the eve of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, Crimean paratroopers held a parade for Vladimir Ivanovich and demonstrations. This is a sign of the continuity of generations of heroes — defenders of the Motherland— emphasized the head of the republic.
