Crimea and Karachay-Cherkess Republics agreed to cooperate in the field of tourism

The Republic of Crimea and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic will cooperate in the field of tourism. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Ganziy and the Minister of Tourism and Resorts of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of Rasul Teleev. The signing took place at the largest 31st international exhibition of tourism and the MITT hospitality industry in Moscow.
Within the framework of partnership, the parties will promote the expansion of interaction and contacts with travel agencies, as well as the promotion of travel services; provide comprehensive support to each other in the implementation of projects for the development of domestic tourism. The parties will also contribute to the exchange of information and advanced practices in the field of domestic tourism and information about tourist events and national tourist routes of the participating regions, as well as the experience of introducing successful practices in the field of tourism.
Tourism of Karachay-Cherkessia is developing rapidly. Arkhyz and Dombay have always been popular among tourists, and today they become modern resorts with developed infrastructure, showing an example of public-private partnerships. Crimeans love to drive here on cars, we are connected by small distances. The republic has the richest natural and historical potential, extreme, mountain tourism is well developed here. I am sure that cooperation in the development of joint projects, automobile turmarchs, medical and health resources, exchange of experience, information partnership will give our regions a new impulse to development. We hope that our cooperation will become the basis for mutually beneficial partnerships in the field of tourism and will contribute to the popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of our two regions,-quoted by the press service of Sergey Hanziy.
The signed agreement with the Republic of Crimea confirms our intention to cooperate in promoting a joint tourist product. We are well aware that guests from Crimea are already visiting our ski complexes, the beaches of Crimea entail lovers of the sea and the sun, and mountain routes are suitable for fans of outdoor activities and ecotourism. Karachay-Cherkessia and Crimea have a similar climate, so it is comfortable for tourists from this region here. In this regard, together with the Turperaists of Crimea, we are taking a step towards joint promotion and increase in the flow of tourists from the Republic of Crimea to Karachay-Cherkessia and in the opposite direction— notes the Minister of Tourism and Resorts of the KCR Rasul Tekeeev.
