Crimea discuss measures to reduce production injuries

Under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea, Elena Romanovskaya, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for Labor Protection was held.
During the meeting, the results of the analysis of the causes of production injuries and the effectiveness of preventive measures taken were discussed. The leaders of the four enterprises where accidents occurred, reported on the measures taken. According to the head of the labor inspectorate of the Republic of Crimea Igor Preborsky, there is a positive dynamics: a decrease in the number of industrial accidents over 7 months of 2025 — by 11% (from 62 to 55); The number of victims decreased by 14% (from 67 to 57); The number of deaths decreased by 25% (from 36 to 27). It was also possible to exclude accidents related to the lack of protection and the operation of faulty equipment.
Particular attention is paid to the financing of labor protection measures at the expense of social insurance.
According to the Social Insurance Fund, for 7 months of 2025, the number of employers who applied for financial support increased 1.5 times. Financing for 368 enterprises in the amount of 49.4 million rubles has been approved.
According to the results of the meeting, employers are recommended to strengthen the implementation of labor protection plans, and authorities to conduct a regular analysis of the causes of injuries in subordinate organizations.
