«Poems of War and Peace. The Ballad of Our Own” is a large-scale production that can be seen in different parts of Russia, including Crimea. The nationwide tour of the project will begin on April 26 in Fryazino, near Moscow, and will end on November 27 in St. Petersburg.

“Poems of War and Peace” is a polyphony of the best works of modern Russian poets, military officers, poems by military personnel, great music, specially created video sequences that give the viewer a sense of involvement in the fate of every hero and all defenders of the Fatherland fighting for our Motherland and the peaceful sky above head, give a deep understanding of what is happening in Donbass, throughout Ukraine, in the world. This is a ballad about heroic struggle and love that unites all generations,” the organizers said.

The production includes poems by our contemporaries who write about Russia, Donbass and the Northern Military District: Anna Dolgareva, Maria Vatutina, Igor Karaulov, Vladislav Artyomov, Alexey Shmelev, Sergei Kalashnikov, Elena Zaslavskaya, Dmitry Artis, Svetlana Kekova, Tatyana Koptelova, Dmitry Moldavsky, Anton Shagin, Yuri Kublanovsky, Marina Kudimova, Vlad Malenko, Lyudmila Zueva, Alexander Prokhanov, Anna Revyakina, Vadim Stepantsov, Yuri Volk, Alexander Pelevin, Vadim Pekov, Dmitry Tribushny.

Their compositions will be performed by one of the authors of the project, poet, journalist, political scientist Vadim Avva.

The concert will be complemented by legendary rock melodies in symphonic arrangement. These are works by the groups “Aria”, “Alice”, “Nautilus Pompilius”, “King and the Clown”, “Kino”, “Chaif”, “Chizh and Co”, “Earthlings”, as well as Akim Apachev, Yulia Chicherina, Vladimir Vysotsky , Alexandra Rosenbaum, Alexandra Vanyushkina. There will also be music by Antonio Vivaldi. The Moscow Cover Orchestra will play for the audience.

The nationwide tour in support of Russian soldiers will cover about 30 regions of the Russian Federation. The tour schedule can be found at project website.
