Crimea fixes a decrease in crime levels among minors

Since 2022, a decrease in crime among minors has been observed in Crimea. However, in the first half of 2025, the growth of certain categories of intentional crimes was recorded, which required the activation of preventive measures.
To stabilize the situation and further reduction of adolescence crime, the commission recommended: to strengthen raid measures in places of mass accumulation of youth; activate explanatory work on liability for offenses; expand the practice of visiting seminars for specialists working with minors; To develop mentoring through projects “Childhood Navigators” and “Movement of the First”.
Particular attention is paid to mentoring programs that help adolescents in a difficult life situation. Today, 368 people expressed their readiness to become mentors. In the Bakhchisarai district, the mentoring program has already demonstrated positive results, which indicates its effectiveness and appropriateness in solving the problems of adolescence deviation.
In the schools of Crimea, the project “Advisers of Directors for Educational Work” is actively developing, who interact with the movement “The Movement of the First” for the organization of useful leisure of adolescents.
During the summer holidays for minors on preventive accounting,: 4 specialized shifts for 500 adolescents; recovery in daytime camps for 200 children; Specialized shift for 81 pupils of socio-rehabilitation centers.
Psychological trainings were carried out “Knowing yourself — I know another”, “Know yourself”, aimed at developing self -awareness and communicative skills in children.
For employees of the preventive bodies, interdepartmental seminars were organized, covering 790 specialists. Also held on -site training events in Dzhankoy, Kerch, Dzhankoy and Leninsky districts.
The commission confirmed the importance of an integrated approach in working with minors, combining prevention, education and social support.
