According to her, in 2024, about 2.5 million tourists visited wine areas who purposefully rode for enogastronomic impressions.
Perhaps there were more of them, but 2.5 million were digitized. The trend of development of the direction is very dynamic, and Crimea is in the leaders. From the point of view of promoting wine tourism, Crimea in dynamics is ahead of the Krasnodar Territory— said Sumenkova.
In her opinion, wine tourism is one of the mechanisms to convey the value and culture of wines consumption. In general, in Russia this direction has great prospects and this, in particular, work small winery of Crimea and Sevastopol, which actively attract wine guides, begin to form a personal brand.
